Yeah, its definitely the battery. It would crank real slow until it just couldn't turn it over anymore. Once I put the charger on it, it cranked over pretty good, was just hard to start and Im assuming that's the running rich issue since when it did start, it would only run on full throttle and had a continuous strong smell of gas coming from the exhaust.

I never though about tubes. The tires are really dry rotted though. They should probably be replaced. Ill worry about that once its running good though.

I forgot to mention, it has the 54" deck, a 42" snow blade, steel wheel weights and he gave me a brand new set of v bar tire chains.

I dunno what is considered "low hour". It has 677 hours on it.
