Hi Zimm17 and welcome to OCC. I'm sure you will love your 149. To get the dash tin off I removed the amp gauge, choke and throttle levers, hydro lever, steering wheel, and the steering column. I was doing a complete refurbishing so all of it came off. I followed IHinIN's process in his work on his 129 cleaning up the bright areas, taping off and respraying the black, and adding new decals. Good luck on your work.
