The pan to tower is 11". It's a 1 1/2" gap making the exposed cover 9 1/2" The cover itself is just under 19". I don't see bolt holes lining up for anything being moved. It could be the wrong pan or cover if nothing was cut.

I thought more would have been said about the condition of the trunnion. I've not done this repair nor do I weld. My 1650 needs it as well. Should I get them filled and filed or buy the rectangles (the key stock?) and have them welded in place?
