I think we're all more interested in the tunnel cover. It's odd that is doesn't fit right..... we've seen a million worn out trunions, LOL.
If you don't weld, I guess I don't know what the question really is. Yes, it needs repaired. Take the rear end out, and get it ready.... wash it up, order or buy the repair parts and find someone who will weld it in. Easy peezy.
