you did good with the local guy...as i said before; i just use key stock for the trunnion repair...i have seen the plates from extreme...im not sure if theyre made of steal with a higher carbon content or a.r, but key stock is just a couple bucks and a little more wear resistant (harder)...either way it is a nice tractor, that loader is sweet...im sure she'll be a good work horse!!!
