J would the timing be off from wear on timing gears or something? mine has never turned over that fast but still has original starter. your rite that snowblower vid looks like its down on power mine has around 900 hours also but is real good on fuel. when i had the blower on last year hardly ever lugged like that. and when it did it would clear out almost instantly when the load was reduced bauers dont seem to do that. i think he will be impressed with the power when we get it figured out
