That's quite cool. Theres an old boat shop near me that has a boat atop their sign. As for the scrap yards, going there frequently I often see what kind of stuff people will drag in just to "make a buck". Thankfully the yard I go to is bery reputable and cooperative good stuff gets pulled to the side for perspective buyers to check out whenever they please.
