I did a video of it passing Britton elevator on Saturday going south, and returning in the evening, also Sunday in the evening in Belleville.
Steam is nice, I remember when they sill used them on regular runs.
I also road that same route as you in the late 70's on the J class 611.
They are going to restore her again, she is in the Virginia museum of transportation
