The gear drive rear PTO turns at around 515 RPM, and they already make an adapter to take it up to the same size as the larger 540 shaft. Not really any need to make it run faster. It's not like a 540 RPM piece of equipment has to be run at exactly 540. Why bother with a reverser anyway? Not like they make any implements that you can put on the GT. This is like the chicken or the egg question, implements or the way to use them.
What I had in mind for this box was that it would have the same outside look as the rear cover plate, just like it just thicker. With a pulley out the side and a 540 type shaft coming ou the rear.
I wanted to make a three point sickle mower to use.
I don't like the box that I have seen with the pulley on the side, it seems added on.
I know it's silly cause there is easier ways to do this but I have a vision..
