For the sake of argument here..... cause that's how I roll...

If this was a car, and the guy in the ad was running a used car lot..... no one here would have any issue ripping on him. We'd flag his ads and tell c-list it's a scam. We would tell all our friends not to buy from him. Some of us more bold people would even publicly rip on the owner of the lot in public when given the chance, as to how on earth he can justify his outrageous prices. I know I would. "Hey, there's Bob of Bob's used cars".... "Hey Bob, how the heck do you ever sell any cars with your outrageous prices?!?!?"
I see it for what it is. Far as I'm concerned, the guy is a rip off artist. Whether it's out of ignorance, stupidity or just plain greed, it doesn't matter to me. I'll rip on anyone like that given the chance. A con is a con, and they do nothing to help advance the hobby, just make it more difficult and drive local prices up. Someone here already posted that in RI it's getting harder to find good deals. It's a lawn tractor for Pete's sake. Even the most rare cubs completely restored aren't worth $4k. You guys can disagree with me if you want, but I'm not backing off. I will say, I quit e-mailing the guy. More just because it's hard to argue with stupid. Just not enough sense there to try to reason with. Happy Cub-ing boys.

See, I just don't think that way. I say if it's for sale it's anyone's business, and I don't think it's out of line to tell him his price is off. I'd tell anyone, anywhere, at any dealer, retail store..... whatever if their price was 10X what the going rate was. For crying out loud, he was asking $4000! Ten times what it's worth! Someone should say something. EVERYONE should tell him! Not yelling at you, Gary. I just respectfully disagree.
