I bought a set of gauge wheels for my 50C deck three years ago. First, there was no provision to lubricate them. So I drilled and tapped for grease zerks. Well, that didn't last long, the phenolic material of the wheels didn't hold up to the drill and tap, and lost the zerks because they wouldn't stay in. Now, they are junk and I will have to so something for this season. 
Anyone found a better gauge wheel that will stand up to the test of time..??
