If it were mine, I would most likely take it apart (again) soak the carb. overnight in carb. cleaner then blow out all of the passages with compressed air including the high speed needle, flush the tank and lines and clean/replace whatever type filter you have, check the float for saturation, put a new kit in the carb. and put it all back together again.

It's my guess that some crud in the system became dislodged and has caused a blockage in a crucial area of the system (more than likely between the fuel line fitting on the side of the carb. and the needle valve).
