The 1641 I bought had the threads striped out on the top starter bolt and I ended up using JB weld to put a stud in the block to mount the starter.

Tankman, for reasons I can't explain my 1863 and 1641 with 317 decks both use a 5/8 x 90 Huskee belts from tractor supply. I ordered a 5/8 x 92 belt and it was to long. Discussion
