I'm at the point where I've put enough time, money, and work into the 2284 that I don't want to get rid of it. She's more than earned her keep.

As for the diesel maintenance, I don't know if that'd cost me $100 or $500. I've seen/heard it run, but know that a lot of basic stuff has to be done to it before I'd consider it a solid runner.

I'm all for selling other stuff I have laying around but I don't really have much laying around any more! I sold my Swisher trail mower for a good price but used that to fund new rubbers for the 2284. Other than that, I'm not getting rid of my 1864, cab, blower, blade, etc. Too many toys, not enough money!

As for mowing with a loader, that's a duty I'd put on the 1864. That way, I don't need to mow with a loader
