The older the kid gets, the less sick everyone becomes. When we put mine in daycare right after he turned 2, we were told by the owner he'd be sick a lot but by the time he started kindergarten, he would rarely miss a day of school. I doubt he's missed 15 days in 9 years. Now the second week of preshool saw him with a terrible cold. The week after that, the wife and I had it, one of the worst colds ever--and that was in JULY. Nothing like a snotty nose and 97deg heat and high humidity.
