Its a needle valve a needle valve seat a rubber o ring and a rubber flap deal that goes in it (you will see when you pull the valve. In my honest opinion before tearing down for a restoration I would get it to be a good solid worker then worry about tearing it down. Good luck with it and those are solid machines!
