If you're putting it on one of your Cyclops tractors, then yes you need the new style brackets if you don't want to notch the fenders. I'm not too sure Aaron has the extra hole in them for the axle brace and they are just 1/8" like the originals. When I get a chance, I'm going to drill the extra hole and have him make some out of 1/4" like the braces are. As far as I know the new style bracket will on older machines, but the square bracket is not just a bolt on for the cyclops'.
Lets see a picture of your blade. I think 407 is what's on my newer style blade. I just drove about a 5 hr. round trip to get one with power angle last monday, but I won't say what I gave for it for fear of starting a riot.
