The bearings of the taper roller style don't wear out so much from speed or the lack of it, but more from
lack of lube/power washing/string/wire wound around the lower spindle cutting out the seals.
When replacing a seal I find it is advisable to install the upper seal with lip facing out/up so when greasing them with a grease gun, you don't force the seal out of it's housing, ruining them.
The grease will just expel around the upper seal.
