My mule drive never came with the tension release handle. I've been running fine without it by making it common sense tight, but for fun I thought I would look up the spec for tensioning. The manual states 3-1/2" between the pulley bolt and mule drive on 38" decks with a coil spring tensioner. It says to use the notches in the tension arm for 44" and 50" decks. Can I use the same 3-1/2" spec for the torsion spring tensioner? Does someone have a tensioner arm lying around they can measure the notches and cut out for me so I can make one?
