Not really. There is a debate waiting to happen here, mainly with people who read a lot. I've found the best kind of oil to use is oil that is present and changed regularly.
I will say, that I've mixed brands more than once in mine and customers stuff, but I try not to make a habit of it.
Mainly because it bothers my OCD. I've never had any failures resulting from it.
