Thanks again for the replies, and I least I gained some knowledge from posting this, but I probably won't be getting the 682 this engine is in.
He is one of them sellers that is never available. I asked if I could come over and look at it one night and he had other plans, no big deal, that stuff happens. The annoying part is that I was supposed to go look at it 2 days later after the guy got off work, so I hooked to my trailer and drove 110 miles and bought a nice 46" mower deck for $150 that I planned to use with the 682 then he cancelled and said he wasn't available. The next day I found a good deal on a zero turn and bought that. So I wasted 220 miles, gas money, a day off work, and $150 on a deck I'm never going to use because somebody puts something on Craigslist but is too busy to actually sell it. Funny thing is, this was a guaranteed sale if all it could do was get on the trailer. It would have been nice if he'd cancelled BEFORE I got to his side of the state at our meeting time.
