PTO size
I re-powered my new to me 2082, which had a mag 20 in it, with a CH18 from a 1864. The CH has a larger diameter PTO pulley than the mag 20 did. Here's the dilemma, the 50c that came with the super, the mule drive is pretty bad off. I have a 48GT deck from a 1440. I'm pretty sure its part number 317-190-100. Although the numbers on it are 317190, the deck and mule are in great shape but the belt isn't going to fit. Partstree says this deck will fit my 2082 and use a 5/8 x 92 belt but that's with the smaller pulley. It says it will fit all these tractors:
Cub Cadet 1641 S/N 821,060 - 880,000
Cub Cadet 1641 S/N 880,001 - 899,000
Cub Cadet 1782 S/N 821,060 - 889,000
Cub Cadet 2182 S/N 821,060 - 880,000
Cub Cadet 2284 S/N 864,501 - 899,000
Does anyone know did all these tractors have the smaller PTO pulley or were that small and big? On the look-up Partstree, says look at mower adapter 322 or 323, and then for use with the super garden tractor use 954-3001. I believe is a 5/8 x 92. How much difference is there in belt length between the 2 pulleys?
