Dakota Digital makes a tach convertor. I think the part number is SGI-8. I used one on my Trans Am I put a LS1 engine in. The LS1 pcm puts out a 4 cyl. tach signal and the gauges are set to read a 8 cyl. tach signal. I will have to look now because I'm curious if it could be used for 1 cyl. engines.
