Default 2155- Walbro carb choke control pivot broken

I believe I have a broken piece of plastic off the choke control pivot. I am not sure at the moment because what I think is the broken piece fell off the linkage and has disappeared for the moment.

I looked for an exploded parts diagram on the Cub Cadets parts website but the closest I came was the "Cap, Choke Lever". The cap is there on mine but I believe there should also be a linkage to connect the pivot arm to. Rotating that cap rotates the choke plate.

I posted a couple pics below, one of the choke lever cap and one of the pivot arm that I believe had the black plastic piece fall off it. Anyone know if there supposed to be a linkage point somewhere near that cap to catch the hook on the end of that linkage arm(under it, next to it, etc)?

I did a search on the number on the carb (75 2333 1205393) to see if I could find an exploded diagram but nothing found yet. Will head back out to see if there is a different number on the carb to search on.

I started looking at it because as I was cutting the grass tonight it started bogging down when the PTO was engaged after about 15 minutes of running. It started rough when I first fired it up but seemed to smooth out initially and cut fine until about 15 minutes in. The choke knob had worked its way up and off the dash panel like i had pulled it out about 1/2" and it didn't seem to be doing anything as I pushed it back in. So I pulled the air cleaner housing and thought I saw a small piece of black drop off the end of the choke linkage arm. I am guessing it is plastic because there was no metallic clink as it bounced on the frame.

I will probably have to wait until the daylight brightens things up a good bit in there tomorrow to find it. Edit to add, it is a model 2155 with a Kohler Command 15 hp engine if that helps.
