As stated before, it's possible that you could hurt yourself, someone else or cause some property damage, with the switch bypassed.
Truth be told, I probably have as many tractors with the switches bypassed as I do with the switches in working order. Fortunately I have never had any kind of issues, but I'm getting older every day and some day I expect that I'll try to start something while it's in gear and Lord only knows what kind of fiasco may result.

Thanks Yosemite , this is just what I was hoping not to damage any electrical components , able to finish cutting grass . Will look into seeing if safety switch is damaged later .
