1450 Hydraulic Lift hoses
Two questions: The hydraulic hose between the Control Valve Assy and Hydraulic Lift Cylinder has a pinhole leak. When I compare the parts schematic to my actual hose routing it appears to be reversed. My hose from the lower port (B) of the Control Valve (nearest to the metal IN - OUT pipes) goes to the rear of the Cylinder, not to the front near the piston rod as shown on the schematic. And my hoses don't have the elbow (part #19) as shown on the schematic. The absence of the elbow doesn't seem to be a big deal, but having the hoses reversed is that a problem?
The part number needed is IH-548044-R2, which is stamped on the brass hose fitting. BTW - the brass hose fitting on the upper hose (port A) is stamped IH-548045-R2. I haven't seen any IH-548044-R2 hoses on our sponsors sites, or on eBay, and they are NLA from Cub Cadet. Is this something that a local hydraulic hose shop could make or should I wait until I find a OEM hose even though it will be decades old?
