NAPA is a few miles away and perhaps they will be open today and can make a new hose. I'll bring them my leaking hose for reference. Maybe even have the 90 degree elbow and new O-ring.

Thanks for the eBay listing but those hoses looked in worse shape than mine. Buying them might make sense if the elbows were detachable like on the Cub Cadets, but they are not.

BTW - about two weeks ago I noticed a dark stain in the grass where the 1450 was parked. I wondered I spilled gas or oil there and didn't give it much more thought. A week ago I changed the hydro filter and fluid and everything looked okay. Then yesterday I noticed another stain in the grass where the 1450 was parked overnight. Hmmm, that seems odd. Do I have an oil leak? An hour later I'm using the 1450 to jump the battery in a 149 that I haven't run in a few years. While doing that hydro fluid starts flowing heavily over the tunnel cover and pooling in the mower deck center pulley. After shutting the 1450 off, I thought that the hydro filter had spun loose. The filter was fine and dry so I tracked the wet area back to hoses at the control valve area. I wiped all the hoses so they were dry and clean and that is when I noticed a slight weeping at one spot on the hose. I can't see a hole but when the tractor is running that spot must be gushing under the pressure.
That is why I suggested you not buy those hoses, but as a reference as to what they looked like.
A good farm store/parts should be able to make up the hoses with a 90* fitting on then. don't know where you are located but TSC makes custom hoses but don't know prices or fittings available.
They make SAE 90* fittings if you need them, in the event your hose maker don't have them for the hose ends.
Seems your top fitting on the spool should have one and the hoses they make for you might be a bit less flexible, so keep that in mind,as far as location/length.
