Thanks Sam for the info, while I have the axle tubes off I'm going to drill the oil return hole, I seem to remember 3/8" dia. , is one hole one each side sufficient? I was asking the question on the length because the one broken bolt that was still there is a grade 8 not the grade 5 in the parts list it also has 2" unthreaded under the head which means it was a 3" bolt. Maybe someone has been inside this unit before, someone that shouldn't be allowed to have tools.
