Seat was too tall, so returned it , and got this one. Much better.

And pulled fender to address the trunion.

Decided to do the quick fix, stop the speed surging, on both the 782 and 169. Feels like a gear drive, now. Constant speed with changing load. Just need to learn to "feather the speed control, much the same as a clutch. Not elegant, but it is mine and I like it.
