Thanks for the heads up on the cone bearings, I will inspect the entire assembly since it is obvious there has been lack of preventive maintenance on this machine. Your observation concerning the length of the upper bolts on the carrier is about what I calculated based on the piece of I took out of one of those holes. The markings on the head of that bolt indicated Grade 8 There is about 1" to 1 1/8" of the broken bolt left in the casing and the
and about 2" of the bolt that I took out of the hole.
