Default New 129 Owner

Hello,

I joined this place last year when I bought my first Cub Cadet, a new RTZ-S 54 KW and it has been just an amazing mowing machine. However I seem to have a lot of heavy duty towing and wanted something I could put a snow/dirt blade on, and was told the transmissions in those tractors are not able to handle that kind of stuff.
Fast forward a year later and I see a craigslist ad here in Cincinnat for a solid running Cub Cadet 129, which I knew nothing about but it was cheap and looked up to the task of towing. I called the guy and he owned a mower service and said he doesen't deal in old stuff and wanted it gone, it ran good but no mower deck. Not to bore you but I had a Craftsman lt1000 non running I got from an auction and I offered to him, he said to bring it. He only wanted 200.00 for the Cub Cadet, gave me 100.00 for the broken Craftsman and even gave me a brand new battery..Cub Cadet 129 and new battery out the door for 100.00.
Now I got home and started reading about Cub Cadet 129's and found out I had bought much more than a basic lawn mower, I had no idea. This lead me back to Craigslist and an 3 1/2 hour one way road trip to Indiana to pick up a OEM blade and snow chains from a super nice older farmer for another 115.00. Also I got to see his collection of several mint Cub Cadets including a few originals that looked right off the factory floor, and a rare pull start version as well as some awesome restored IH Cub Tractors and a old all electric model. This only fueled a new need and want to restore the great running 129 I now have.
Not that I need a new addiction in my life but it seems to me that finding all the attachments that I now want might be a very long scavenger hunt, so any helpful hints would be appreciated.
