Yes, the adjusting rod is almost all the way into the frame with the nut just hanging on the last thread in order to get the notch bar adjusted to the "B" notch. I went on the net looking at pictures of 1811's and I noticed that the adjusting rod was sticking out quite a bit. If I adjust the rod to where it is backed out like in those pictures the left pulley is pulled way back towards the cutting deck and the notched rod is no where near the "B" notch. The deck my sister told me is something like a 38". She has a bigger one that is in the 40's. Not sure of the size. The camera I have is an old Kodak 35mm where you have to get film developed so I would have to find film then get it developed in order to post it here.
