Unklechuckles, if you have the later machine then you have the 6" pto which takes a larger belt then the 4.6" smaller pto on the early machines. Can you measure that or shoot us a pic of it? Maybe someone changed it and put the wrong one on it. And you prolly should measure the deck center pulley also to see if it has been changed. The belt you picked up (954-3047) is a B section belt that is 95.3" long. Don't put a standard V-belt on it because all the twisting and turning will overheat it and destroy it quick. The TSC box store is your friend here. Go buy multiple belts, find what fits and take the rest back.
