If that Vanguard isn't at least 22 or 23 hp, it isn't enough motor for a super IMO. The V-twins don't have the torque of the older boxer twins.

The 1882 has the plastic hood, nose, and sidepanels, all of which are hard to find and expensive in good condition. The cyclops tractors were notorious for wiring issues, and the paint on most of them is also a trouble spot. Mechanically, they're slightly better than the preceding series. There's a lot of good parts in them (CV joint driveshaft, PS, 30mm axles and carrier, etc.) that can be used on the older 82 series tractors.
