I know the blade box for my 44A IH deck said tungsten carbide edge...then again those blades are ten plus years old.. but the box for the 60 haban blades just says hardened... but you can see the inserted area on the bottom of the blade... looks just like the 44A blades... the entire edge of the blade appears to be a different metal.. but you may be correct that it is not tungsten.. im not sure
