Took the cover off the gear box and it seems most of the play is between the gear and the pin on each shaft. Not a lot of play but it concerns me. Does it need to have the pins replaced? Will the tiller being hooked up make a difference? All advice will be appreciated. Thanks and have a great day.

I make replacement gear box shafts. If yours doesn't exactly match what I have listed, I can copy yours to add to the list ( and you get a discount )

Your bearings should probably be replaced too.
