Default Thanks for the welcomes

I think the 1440 has me more bothered right now - I had my wife pick up the starter, and 4 days after surgery, I just can't get out to it to put it in. I just have to wait it out. Not sure how to do it yet - I can't see the bolts. Book rate is 0.6 hours, so I'm pretty sure I don't have to pull the engine out.

The carb issue on the 104 is a worn butterfly shaft. I run this every week, so the fuel doesn't go bad. At the end of the season, I'll switch to the canned fuel on the last mowing, and store it with that. Not sure I want to put $350 into another carburetor, but that's about the only thing wrong with the 104, and it would be nice to straighten out the idle speed thing.

Two tractors seems odd, but we set them up at the same cutting height, and my wife and i can get the entire lawn done in about an hour if we start at the same time. We can even mow "tandem" on the same piece of grass. Kind of fun.
