are you sure its fuel related and not ignition? a ignition coil can cause issues when hot,as well as the carb. has the carb ever been rebuilt? is the fuel filter clean? fuel hoses replaced before? . you could try to crimp off the fuel hose going from the pump to carb after shutting it off,that would eliminate fuel pressure from pump being forced past the needle and seat. if that solves the issue,i would rebuild the carb,this new gas loves to eat rubber parts
