Thanks for all the input guys. I did find a few places that take hydraulic/motor oil, as well as antifreeze. My local landfill (WM High Acres) is lass than a mile from my house, and run by Waste Management...they are very picky about bringing any type of used oil to there facility. My mother in law works there in the scale house. My county is lacking when it comes to hazardous waste recycling, but a neighboring county has provisions to accept most hazardous materials at various drop off locations. I tried to bring some old household chemicals to one once when we first moved into our house, and they demanded proof of residence from their county...ugh

I found a custom "hot rod" shop a few miles away thats happy to burn it in their waste oil burner though, and he has a several hundred gallon tank outside his shop. He told me to stop by anytime and dump whatever I had in it.

In my search I also found a place that takes used tires free...they shred them up to make material for playgrounds and such.
