My OPINION, loaders are junk on a cub cadet. Other than the cool factor, most look disproportionate to the cub they are on, and make the tractor clumsy to use for other jobs.
They are slow to raise and lower, and are a half a day project to mount and remove from the tractor
They put an extremely large amount of weight on a front end not built for that type of work... with out anything in the bucket. Leads to all kinds of front end and steering issues. Plan on re building your steering column and replacing your tie rod ends often!
They remove weight from the rear end which, since cubs dont have front wheel assist... seems rather silly to me!
They are not good for digging in anything but a pile ...efficiently.
Lastly, y do you want one? Are you loading material into a pickup daily? Weekly? Monthly? If you just plan to use it for moving loose material from here to there, or are actually going to try to dig, build a johnny bucket type apparatus.
Save your money, your tractor, and your frustration. If you really want to get the best of your tractor with digging and hauling, put a bucket on your cub cadet 3 point.
Puts all the weight on the only two wheels that are driving your rig. Rear axles are heavier than the front by a mile and therefore no damage to your front end!!
Ok so you have to turn around to load and dump... big deal. Your only doing it for a few hours. If your using it so much you have to get neck surgery. You need a skid steer not a cub.
