Thanks! I made a promise to myself when I bought it that I would take care of it if it killed me. It was a huge investment at the time but after going through a couple of cheap Craftsman in 4 years I decided a big boy tractor was in order. She wasn't my first choice but I couldn't afford the 4WD orange machine that I really wanted.
She's been good to me. I just replaced the front sneakers on her Friday... weird that the original tires only lasted 21 years!
Need to do the rears next... leaning towards a set of lugs for a little extra traction on my hills.
Haven't had any significant trouble with her other than the charging issue. Always dependable and ready to go.
My only regret is not getting the bigger (and much better) deck for it. Maybe a used one will cross my path?
