I have a nice cub 582 special with the 16hp briggs on it. While mowing the other day I broke a rod on the origional motor. I like the tractor and have a plow and snowblower for it but hate to spend alot of money repairing it. Anyone have any ideas on a motor that will fit the tractor? I am fairly handy fabricating but obviously need a horizontal motor with the right size pto and drive shaft Thanks for any input Jason
