I mowed my mom's yard, approximately an acre or more, with my 104 number one. There is a water pocket just under the surface of the ground and the grass gets tall, very quick, and thick. The 10 hp in the 104 didn't like it too much. My 2006 JD X320 usually just breezes through it without problem, but the 104 had problems with it. But it mowed it. The 12 hp in my 122 did a little better when I mowed my mom's yard with it recently, but not neither of them handle it as well as my JD.
