If it is like my sweepster broom on my 129, then yes! I found that I can adjust it just slightly above ground and the bristles just grab the leaves but leave the ground below untouched. I tried it over loose dirt in the yard last year that had leaves on top of it and it did just fine without throwing the dirt. These are one of the most fun attachments I've ran before.
