Never thought much of mine, so I gave it to my son.
I cracked some corn for the chickens once.
It's just a hammer mill.
With leaves it will do ok but it is not a chipper for other than small twigs.
I find my deck with a mulch plug does about the same job shredding/chopping sticks/leaves.
