ive been reading up on the rear PTO wiring and im kind of confused as to how this works. i looked under the hood of my 2072, and i found a pig tail that has a jumper wire in it. does that jumper wire come out, and the pig tail go into a switch? i do remember when i had the fenders off finding a pig tail wire by the light wires that i know goes to the PTO itself on the transmission.
can anyone help me figure this out? im kind of confused on what kind of switch to use. some say use a PTO switch like the one for the front but some say directional switch not a PTO switch. kinda confusing!
thank you in advanced.

The jumper wire comes out and is replaced with a short harness that connects to a switch that is installed in an existing hole on the metal part of the instrument panel support near the headlight switch or ignition switch, depending on the model. In one position of the switch, the front PTO is activated (I think the switch is up) and in the other position (down) the rear PTO will be activated. this switch does not activate the PTO, but merely switched which PTO is turned on when the main PTO on-off switch on the dash is turned on.
