since the "authority" has already spoken,i guess i shouldnt waste my time. BUT we are not working on the space shuttle,a difference in ohms really wont matter. i installed a external coil on my briggs and stratton 12 horse in my montgomery wards squire 12 to avoid pulling the engine and guess what???? it works great,no burned points or running issues. FYI pullers have been using bosch blue coils forever,wonder why????
