I looked into turfs but new wheels are $86 each, tires $90 each, and IH wheel weights are worth their pounds in gold.
I picked up a set of 2 link chains for 23x8.5 tires for $60 and plan to only use them if it's icy. I plowed through 3 storms with just the ags and did fine, it was only that one re-freeze that killed me and I had to resort to chains.
Now I might still keep my eye on ebay for a used set of turfs/wheels for the future...
The 10.5 chains were practically falling off without tensioners.
