Angry Cancer from bacon

A quick warning for everyone, the WHO has published a report today saying that consumption of processed meats increases the risk of colorectal cancer. They also said that based on "limited evidence", red meat is "probably carcinogenic". So put down that sausage and bacon folks. And stay away from pork, veal, goat, beef , lamb, rabbit, switch to tofu instead.

Are these the same folks that said eggs are bad for you due to cholesterol and then, after depriving generations of good nutritious eggs and other cholesterol rich foods, said a couple months ago that actually the cholesterol you ingest has little no effect on cholesterol levels in the blood? Or are they the folks that created generations of people allergic to peanuts by recommending that peanuts be excluded from children's diet, only to find out that guess what, feeding peanuts to children actually prevents them from developing peanut allergies? Just wondering
