Excellent point you have there. I remember it used to be a tradition to pile into the car and spend an evening or two driving around looking at Christmas lights; now less and less people are even decorating. I just hate how "the holiday season" starts in October and as SOON as Halloween is over, it's Christmas. We've got radio stations playing Christmas music, stores have Christmas decorations and merch on the shelves, and houses are starting to decorate. I even know one person who's wife made him put up the Christmas tree THE DAY AFTER HALLOWEEN! I REFUSE in my house to put up a tree a day before December. If you do it at the end of October that's nearly 1/4 of the year with a tree up! Yeesh, seems like there's plenty to rant about on this topic
